Testimonial: living as a couple with a zebra

How do you live as a couple with a zebra?

It was important to me that the first published testimonial should come from the person who is closest to me on a daily basis, and above all, with whom I am most intimate. For me, my relationship with others is even more special when it’s with the person who shares my life.

It’s a bit of a sacred thing, I love the fusion, the feeling of fulfillment it brings me, but without falling into emotional dependence. I love my life alone and I love my life with her. I don’t need to be in a relationship to be happy. I think being in a couple is my bonus and that’s already pretty cool!

J and I have had an incredible feeling ever since we met! I think it’s because she got to me so quickly! Now she reads through me like a book, it’s as if she has access to all my thoughts…

It’s a bit unsettling sometimes :D! But today, of course, she knows me best. An expression on my face, my gaze, my voice. In a split second, she understands what’s going on in my head.

It’s because she knows me so well, that she’s able to soothe me, reassure me, and also forgive me this discrepancy which, at times, can complicate exchanges and my life with others.

Thank you for your testimony, your gentleness, your kindness, your patience, your love, your humour, your good humour and your infectious smile! Your strength of character and your vision of life make me want to follow you to the ends of the earth:)!

I hope it helps a lot of gifted people who think that relationships can be very complicated! And yes, let’s face it, they can be! But when you’re with someone who’s understanding, patient, and obviously accepts and loves you just as you are (dedication to Bridget Jones), it’s totally possible and really enjoyable!

Happy reading, zebras!

Everyday life with a zebra

“I’d only known Mel for a short time when she was diagnosed as High Potential.

For the record, the day before she took the exam, she was completely freaked out because it was as if her life was at stake.
A few days later, she received the results, which confirmed that she was indeed gifted! I was so proud and happy for her that she could finally have the chance to understand all her past years and, in a way, finally be able to live! Because it was a huge relief for her! It’s as if she’d had this weight on her heart all these years, preventing her from living a “normal” life. It was quite impressive, I must admit!

If I have to tell you about my relationship with Mel, it’s still a perfectly “normal and simple” relationship.

When you get to know her, you quickly realize that she’s a very sensitive and emotional person. You have to reassure her at times and restore her confidence, but nothing nasty. On the contrary, I find it makes her a touching and endearing person. Then, for the crazy side of his personality, it’s his ability to think very quickly. When you and I are faced with a problem, we tend to ask ourselves 50 questions and weigh up the pros and cons. Mel will come up with a solution in 30 seconds (it’s pretty frustrating, by the way, ahah )!!! That’s his nerdy side! This ability to imagine the whole range of possibilities in no time at all.
Always able to think on her feet, she’s a person with lots of projects and things on her mind (you have to keep up with her sometimes), in this case you just have to be able to put a little hola in her madness and then everything rolls! But she’s still very down-to-earth in the way she analyzes a situation or a problem!

Mel is all about generosity, pep and raw joie de vivre. I want you to know that it’s a real pleasure to be with you and to be at your side! Don’t ever lose that quick wit of yours, that madness and, of course, that desire to live life to the full.
You’re awesome!”
